Kathy began her career in Financial Services in 1994.
Early on, she realized that her passion is serving as an advocate for clients to receive the best possible experience. As a former financial advisor, Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge to CVG Wealth Management. She deepens the client relationship, serves as a liaison for the internal team to advocate for the client's needs, and heightens the client experience. Kathy is series 7, 9 & 10 registered through LPL Financial; Life, Health and Annuity Insurance licensed, and has advanced training in wealth management, providing her with an exceptional perspective on issues associated with our high net worth clients.
Kathy has an MBA from Texas A&M University and a BS in Marketing Management.
Kathy is married to Steve Mathis, and their combined family includes 6 children, 2 dogs, and several fish. She is highly involved in the community and her church. She has taken an interest in young people in need by serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and a foster parent. Kathy also supports our military troops and their families who are deployed. She has participated and raised funds for Operation Ride for the Red, a 50-mile cycling event hosted by the Red Cross supporting military families. She has also coordinated smaller local community activities for our troops serving abroad. Kathy also volunteers on the Camarillo Community Church Concert Team that brings well-known talent to the community that the whole family can enjoy. She grew up in Las Vegas and has lived in Madrid, Spain, and Adana, Turkey, before finding her home in California, residing with her family in Camarillo. Kathy enjoys music and movies and spending time with her husband.
